Why don't they scrap the textbooks, fire all the teachers and have the kids spend all day reading Conservapedia? Save a fortune and get the same batshiat crazy, ultra-right-wing nonsense they want, and textbooks publishers can get back to producing books based on reality.
Texas buys the most text books. Text book companies (using the magic of the free market) will make all their books fit what Texas wants (it's easier to distribute 1 book rather than 2). Pretty soon the cretard text books are in non-Texas schools because it's what the free-market commands.
